Pauline’s Wine Bar’s brand identity was designed to capture the warmth and character of a neighborhood wine bar in Islington, London. The goal was to create a visual language that feels both welcoming and sophisticated, celebrating the joy of gathering over wine and food while reflecting a contemporary, creative spirit.
The visual identity is built around a collage aesthetic, featuring hand-painted watercolor illustrations of fruits, wine bottles, and other table elements. These motifs were cut, layered, and animated into lively compositions that echo the tactile, imperfect beauty of shared meals and poured wine. With its mix of crafted details and playful spontaneity, the brand mirrors the simple pleasure of opening a bottle among friends — inviting, expressive, and full of life.
